Bacon Country Gravy
Make on the fly gravy from bacon.
Ingredients
- Fatty bacon, chopped
- Onion, minced
- Nutmeg
- Ginger
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Flour
- Heavy cream or milk
Procedure
- Add chopped fatty bacon into saucepan. Cook until most of the bacon fat is rendered into grease. Season with Minced Onion, Nutmeg, Ginger, Salt and Pepper.
- Mix in several tablespoons of flour.
- Mix in heavy cream and or milk until desired thickness is reached.
