Bacon Country Gravy

Make on the fly gravy from bacon.

Ingredients

  • Fatty bacon, chopped
  • Onion, minced
  • Nutmeg
  • Ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Flour
  • Heavy cream or milk

Procedure

  1. Add chopped fatty bacon into saucepan. Cook until most of the bacon fat is rendered into grease. Season with Minced Onion, Nutmeg, Ginger, Salt and Pepper.
  2. Mix in several tablespoons of flour.
  3. Mix in heavy cream and or milk until desired thickness is reached.
